Vanguard Phones Combines Orange and Green

ShoreTel has the lowest total cost of ownership, and our current promotions may make our competitors green with envy.

Effective immediately, all new Vanguard Phonescustomers that trade in Avaya or Cisco products and leverage our ShoreTel Financial Solutions program will receive $125 per phone toward their ShoreTel system. system.

But what if you don’t have Avaya or Cisco? Not to worry – all other systems, including legacy Nortel, NEC, Siemens and every one of Mitel’s five different hybrid and legacy platforms get $100 for each phone. (That’s way more than what you’ll get on CraigsList or eBay.) It’s our way of helping customers migrate from the legacy world to the world of all IP-based solutions.

It’s a great opportunity to trade in those complex systems and join the world of brilliantly simple ShoreTel solutions, which is greener as it uses considerably less power. ShoreTel systems are proven to have the lowest total cost of ownership, as a result of lower power consumption and reduced administrative complexity. Our ShoreTel switch appliances use a fraction of the power compared with servers used by our competitors – not to mention having higher reliability by avoiding the use of hard disk drives, which fail over time. It’s not a surprise that we have earned the highest customer satisfaction ratings from customers.

So who knew you could switch from the old to the new, and put some green in your pocket? Well, now you do!  But don’t delay – this promotion ends at the end of the year! What a nice way to put some extra green toward the holiday season.

Vanguard Phones Partner ShoreTel is Quickly Becoming A Major Player In “Pure IP”

We’re growing, and still going strong! As Peter Blackmore previously mentioned, ShoreTel ended our fiscal year on a high note and that we enter Fiscal 2012 with positive momentum.

ShoreTel ranks third in the U.S. “Pure IP” telephony market, which consists of LAN Telephony (IP-Only) Call Servers and IP-Phones. ShoreTel had more than 10 percent share by revenue in the second quarter of 2011, versus 8 percent share in the second quarter of 2010. ShoreTel has 5 percent of the global pure IP telephony market.

The market share gains reflect the company’s rapid growth, with five consecutive quarters of revenue growth in excess of 30 percent. In the 2011 fiscal year, ShoreTel achieved non-GAAP profitability while increasing its sales team by over 40 percent and overall headcount by 30 percent. In addition, more than 230 new employees have joined ShoreTel in the past 12 months.

We’re laying the foundation to support additional growth as we continue to grow and capture an even greater share of the enterprise IP telephony, mobility and UC markets. Our U.S. two-tier distribution channel program helps position the company for continued momentum worldwide.

“ShoreTel’s market share gains are recognition of our brilliantly simple product, lowest total cost of ownership, and expanding global distribution network. ShoreTel has seen steady growth in revenue and market share. We have tremendous opportunity in the coming year to further solidify ShoreTel’s position among the top three players.

We are also focused on our mobility solution, which enables companies to empower their workers with the smartphones they love, leveraging the IP PBX platform companies already have in place – all while reducing costs and securing enterprise communications,” Blackmore added. “ShoreTel is fueling a revolution in enterprise mobility.”

Vanguard Phones A Pioneer in Unified Communications

Did you know today is an official Vanguard day? Pioneer Day celebrates the pioneers who arrived at the Salt Lake Valley on July 24, 1847. And when it comes to Unified Communications, many Utah companies have been pioneers in the UC space, leading the way for companies looking for brilliantly simple solutions.

One of these companies is Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough who was one of the first large law firm in Utah who purchased ShoreTel. Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough is a full-service law firm based in Salt Lake City with extensive experience in all aspects of corporate, business, real estate, and litigation law. In 2006, Jones Waldo was utilizing a Harris PBX-based telephone system, and learned that Harris would no longer be supporting their system. They evaluated Voice over IP vendors and selected ShoreTel. Jones Waldo has seen many benefits including enhanced productivity with a built-in suite of versatile, real-time tools that put flexible features, telephony and IM control, and collaboration services at employees’ fingertips and integration with the firm’s billing and timekeeping systems, which enhances the firm’s ability to record account activities and charges, as well as bill clients.

Another UC pioneer in Utah is Monavie. Established in 2005, MonaVie is a fast-growing company that provides an extensive line of nutritional drinks, supplements and snacks designed to help consumers lose weight and promote healthier lifestyles. To remain successful at fulfilling orders and expanding the business, MonaVie needed to deploy a unified communications solution that could rapidly scale to meet these demands. ShoreTel Enterprise Contact Center is at the heart of MonaVie’s ShoreTel Unified Communications Solution, which also comprises ShoreTel IP Telephones and a custom application feature built by ShoreTel Professional Services. Enterprise Contact Center has integrated chat and e-mail features that enables teams to handle calls, e-mails and chats. Benefits have included $500,000 yearly savings on reduced personnel costs and improved customer service to its distributors with automated call backs, and outbound surveys and credit card issue resolution.
